Through Kate's old trainer, Lynn Hogan, we came across this sweet but HUGE filly for sale. We all drove
out to see her on Valentine's Day 2004 and it was love at first sight. She was mostly unhandled and never had been
saddled. The farm she was at was frightened of her due to her size, so she mainly stayed in the pasture and ate hay.
Marcie has proven herself a wonderful trail mount. She has been ridden all over the place around our farm.
Ben basically broke her to ride on the sides of the roads, she's extremely traffic safe. Kate has been working with
her finesse and she's such a good girl. She has given lessons to adult beginners and taken city folk down the trails
too.
Marcie has potential for dressage, but prefers to mosey down the trails.
